Our Story
How three siblings turned a longing for their mother's cooking into Wagholi's home of authentic Maharashtrian food.
THE BEGINNING
It began with a memory we couldn't forget.
Ajit Pawar, Bhagwat Pawar and Geeta Kale — three siblings — grew up on their mother's fresh, home-cooked Maharashtrian meals. Thalipeeth roasting on the tawa, puran poli folded with pure ghee, the warmth of a kitchen that fed the whole family.
As busy adult life pulled them in different directions, that taste slowly slipped away. They missed the aroma of freshly roasted thalipeeth and homemade puran poli — the food that felt like home.
So they made a decision: to leave their jobs and bring that taste back — for themselves, and for every family that missed it too.
